Noida: Google Maps has updated its navigation system and is now reflecting the direct route connecting Noida International Airport with Yamuna Expressway, resolving a problem that inconvenienced several travellers on the day of the launch.TOI had reported that many on Monday faced confusion and lost precious time before departure after Google Maps directed them to the cargo terminal near Kishorpur village instead of the passenger terminals. Security personnel had stopped the vehicles and informed travellers that the gate was meant only for cargo operations. They were then asked to return to the Yamuna Expressway and reach the terminal via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway link road.The detour forced the commuters to travel nearly 20 km extra, pay toll charges at two plazas and spend around 30 additional minutes on the journey.With the route update now live on Google Maps, commuters are being directed to the correct location, allowing smoother and faster access to the airport.
