MUSSOORIE: A late-night altercation between a group of tourists from Haryana and a local couple on Sunday turned violent after the tourists’ vehicle allegedly came dangerously close to the family. The tourists allegedly assaulted the couple, with one of them seen using a plastic tub to attack them. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.According to police, the local couple were on their way home when the tourists’ vehicle came dangerously close to them, prompting the couple to object. Following the argument, the tourists allegedly got out of their vehicle and assaulted the woman and her husband. One of the tourists was seen striking the couple with a plastic tub.The incident occurred on Mall Road near Picture Palace. Police arrested Neeraj Rawat (36) resident or Gurugram Haryana who was booked under section 170 of BNS and his vehicle was also challaned under MV act.
