Bruce Dern on how Quentin Tarantino scolded Brad Pitt

While attending the Cannes Film Festival, Bruce Dern opened up about what it was like to film with Quentin Tarantino back in 2019 when he worked on his film ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.’He revealed that there was one scene where Brad Pitt’s character says goodbye to him. During the scene, when Pitt woke him up, he said that he felt groggy and said something that was not part of the script. This made the ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ actor cut the cameras at the moment. This situation prompted Tarantino to scold him and clarify that he should never do something like this ever again. He added that “He (Brad Pitt) cut the camera. The look on Quentin’s face — I mean, he was insanely grave — and he said, ‘Brad, what did you just do?’ He said, ‘Well, I cut the camera.’” He also shared that Tarantino replied by saying, “‘Never again in your life will you ever cut a camera, or you’ll be dead in this business. That’s my domain. Don’t stop behavior.’ So then we went on and did the scene, and all Brad did was say to him, ‘Well, that wasn’t in the script what he said.’”‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’ was a huge hit and earned Pitt an Oscar for his role as Cliff Booth for the best supporting actor title. As per Box Office Mojo, the film earned USD 393.8 million globally against a USD 80 million production budget
