‘Paper Man’ is an upcoming Korean drama that has been creating quite a buzz online. Helmed by famed director Lee Il-hyung, the series has been a big topic of discussion as of late, with many wondering about who all will be cast. Now, as per the latest updates shared online, the leading cast members have officially been confirmed.
Cast for ‘Paper Man’ announced
Netflix released a report confirming that actors Cho Jung-seok, Claudia Kim, and Park Hae-soo have officially been cast to lead the upcoming thriller series. Actor Cho Jung-seok will be playing the role of the leading man in the upcoming thriller series. He has previously worked on big projects such as ‘Exit’, ‘Don’t Dare To Dream’, ‘Hospital Playlist’, ‘My Daughter is a Zombie’, and ‘My Annoying Brother,’ to name a few.Next, Park Hae-soo, who is best known for appearing in ‘Squid Game’, ‘Narco-Saints’, and ‘Karma’, will take on the role of Oh Seung-eop, the First Deputy Director of the Anti-Counterfeiting Division at the Korea Mint. He will be the leading detective who attaches himself to Myung-jo’s trail.Lastly, Claudia Kim has been cast as Ko Hye-seok, Myung-jo’s wife and an elite judge who leads a high-end lifestyle; however, she has her own issues to deal with. She has also appeared in shows and films like ‘The Dark Tower’, ‘A Normal Family’, and ‘Gyeongseong Creature.’
What is ‘Paper Man’ about?
The series is said to center around a quiet office-going husband, Cha Myung-jo, who works at a firm that creates imitation character stickers. While he lives in the shadow of his wife, who works at a better company and earns far more than he does, one mishap ends up changing his life. When he ends up creating a counterfeit banknote by pure mistake, that can be passed for the real one, he ends up getting sucked into the criminal world.
