Relatives told police that Twisha had wanted to leave Bhopal and return to Noida.They also said she remained in contact with family members until around 10pm on Tuesday, shortly before her death.Assistant commissioner of Police Rajneesh Kashyap, who is heading the SIT, had earlier said that a case had been registered under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to dowry death and harassment against Samarth Singh and his mother.He said efforts had been intensified to trace and arrest the accused.

Officials said the SIT would investigate allegations of dowry harassment, physical assault and attempts to destroy evidence after Twisha’s death.An FIR was registered in the case belatedly on Friday against the former judge and her son. However, the retired judge got an anticipatory bail from a sessions court the same evening and the anticipatory bail application of her son will come up for hearing on Monday.In the police records, he is absconding as of now.
