BHOPAL: A 24-hour battle and 35 life-saving injections saved a woman in Madhya Pradesh’s Narmadapuram district after she was bitten five times by a snake within two minutes.Doctors said crucial time was lost after the family first took her to a faith healer instead of a hospital.The incident took place on July 13 at around 12.30 pm.Radhabai Ahirwar, a resident of Jheel Pipariya village, was sweeping her kitchen when she spotted a nearly five-foot-long black snake hiding among utensils in a cupboard.Before she could react, the snake bit her on the right palm.As she tried to shake it off, it struck repeatedly.Within nearly two minutes, the snake bit her five times on her hand.
